Translation

Cuando vio las monedas, el comedor de carne se sintió atraído por ellas. Entonces consintió; esa misma noche, cortó las cadenas de Sanātana y le dejó cruzar el Ganges.

When the meat-eater saw the coins, he was attracted to them. He then agreed, and that night he cut Sanātana’s shackles and let him cross the Ganges.
