prajā bhavān adya rirakṣiṣuḥ kila
sa vīra-mūrtiḥ samabhūd dharā-dharo
yo māṁ payasy ugra-śaro jighāṁsasi

My dear Lord, in this way You once protected me by rescuing me from the water, and consequently Your name has been famous as Dharādhara — He who holds the planet earth. Yet at the present moment, in the form of a great hero, You are about to kill me with sharpened arrows. I am, however, just like a boat on the water, keeping everything afloat.

Meu querido Senhor, dessa maneira, certa vez protegestes-me, resgatando-me da água, em consequência do que Vosso nome se tornou famoso como Dharādhara – aquele que sustém o planeta Terra. Todavia, atualmente, sob a forma de um grande herói, estais prestes a me matar com flechas afiadas. Contudo, sou tal qual um barco sobre a água, mantendo tudo a flutuar.

Comentário

The Lord is known as Dharādhara, meaning “He who keeps the planet earth on His tusks as the boar incarnation.” Thus the planet earth in the shape of a cow is accounting the contradictory acts of the Lord. Although He once saved the earth, He now wants to upset the earth, which is like a boat on water. No one can understand the activities of the Lord. Due to a poor fund of knowledge, human beings sometimes think the Lord’s activities contradictory.

SIGNIFICADO—O Senhor é conhecido como Dharādhara, que significa “aquele que mantém o planeta Terra sobre Suas presas em Sua encarnação como o javali”. Assim, o planeta Terra sob a forma de vaca está relatando os atos contraditórios do Senhor. Embora certa vez Ele tenha resgatado a Terra, agora quer arruinar a mesma, que é como um barco sobre a água. Ninguém pode entender as atividades do Senhor. Devido a um pobre fundo de conhecimento, os seres humanos às vezes julgam as atividades do Senhor como contraditórias.
