एवंविधा गदन्तीनां स गिर: पुरयोषिताम् ।
निरीक्षणेनाभिनन्दन् सस्मितेन ययौ हरि: ॥ ३१ ॥

sasmitena yayau hariḥ

evaṁvidhāḥ — in this way; gadantīnām — thus praying and talking about Him; saḥ — He (the Lord); giraḥ — of words; pura-yoṣitām — of the ladies of the capital; nirīkṣaṇena — by His grace of glancing over them; abhinandan — and greeting them; sa-smitena — with a smiling face; yayau — departed; hariḥ — the Personality of Godhead.

evaṁ-vidhāḥ — dessa maneira; gadantīnām — assim orando e falando sobre Ele; saḥ — Ele (o Senhor); giraḥ — de palavras; pura — yoṣitām – das damas da capital; nirīkṣaṇena — por Sua graça de olhar para elas; abhinandan — e as saudando; sa-smitena — com um rosto sorridente; yayau — partiu; hariḥ — a Personalidade de Deus.

Tradução

While the ladies of the capital [Hastināpura] were greeting Him and talking in this way, the Lord, smiling, accepted their good greetings, and casting the grace of His glance over them, He departed from the city.

Enquanto as damas da capital de Hastināpura O saudavam e falavam dessa maneira, o Senhor, sorrindo, aceitava suas gentis saudações, e, lançando a graça de Seu olhar sobre elas, Ele partiu da cidade.
