अवाच्यवादांश्च बहून्वदिष्यन्ति तवाहिताः ।
निन्दन्तस्तव सामर्थ्य ततो दुःखतरं नु किम् ॥ ३६ ॥

avācya-vādāṁś ca bahūn
vadiṣyanti tavāhitāḥ
nindantas tava sāmarthyaṁ
tato duḥkha-taraṁ nu kim
아바쨔-바담스 짜 바훈 avācya-vādāṁś ca bahūn
바디샨띠 따바히따하 vadiṣyanti tavāhitāḥ
닌단따스 따바 사마르턈 nindantas tava sāmarthyaṁ
따또 두카따람 누 낌 tato duḥkha-taraṁ nu kim

Your enemies will describe you in many unkind words and scorn your ability. What could be more painful for you?

적들이 여러 좋지 않은 말로 너에 관해 이야기할 것이고 네 능력을 업신여길 것이다. 네게 이보다 더 고통스러운 것이 무엇이 있겠느냐?

Purport

주석

Lord Kṛṣṇa was astonished in the beginning at Arjuna’s uncalled-for plea for compassion, and He described his compassion as befitting the non-Āryans. Now in so many words, He has proved His statements against Arjuna’s so-called compassion.

처음에 주 끄리쉬나는 아르주나의 불필요한 동정심에 놀랐고 이러한 동정심은 아리아인에게 어울리지 않는 것이라고 말씀하셨다. 주께서는 아르주나의 소위 동정심이라는 것에 반대하는 당신의 의견을 여러 방식으로 입증하셨다.
