kasya rūpam abhūd dvedhā
yat kāyam abhicakṣate

yat kāyam abhicakṣate

While he was thus absorbed in contemplation and was observing the supernatural power, two other forms were generated from his body. They are still celebrated as the body of Brahmā.

Enquanto estava assim absorto em meditação e observava o poder sobrenatural, duas outras formas manifestaram-se de seu corpo. Elas ainda são célebres como o corpo de Brahmā.

Purport

Comentário

Two bodies came out from the body of Brahmā. One had a mustache, and the other had swollen breasts. No one can explain the source of their manifestation, and therefore until today they are known as the kāyam, or the body of Brahmā, with no indication of their relationship as his son or daughter.

Dois corpos saíram do corpo de Brahmā. Um tinha um bigode, e o outro tinha seios volumosos. Ninguém pode explicar a fonte da manifestação deles, de modo que, até hoje, eles são conhecidos como kāyam, ou o corpo de Brahmā, sem indicação de sua relação como filho ou filha dele.
