Śrī Sūta Gosvāmī said: The personality of Kali, thus being ordered by Mahārāja Parīkṣit, began to tremble in fear. Seeing the King before him like Yamarāja, ready to kill him, Kali spoke to the King as follows.
Śrī Sūta Gosvāmī disse: A personalidade de Kali, sendo assim ordenada por Mahārāja Parīkṣit, começou a tremer de medo. Vendo o rei diante de si como Yamarāja, pronto para matá-lo, Kali falou ao rei da seguinte maneira.

Comentário
The King was ready to kill the personality of Kali at once, as soon as he disobeyed his order. Otherwise the King had no objection to allowing him to prolong his life. The personality of Kali also, after attempting to get rid of the punishment in various ways, decided that he must surrender unto him, and thus he began to tremble in fear of his life. The king, or the executive head, must be so strong as to stand before the personality of Kali like the personality of death, Yamarāja. The King’s order must be obeyed, otherwise the culprit’s life is in risk. That is the way to rule the personalities of Kali who create disturbance in the normal life of the state citizens.
SIGNIFICADO—O rei estava pronto para matar imediatamente a personalidade de Kali, logo que ele desobedecesse a sua ordem. De outra forma, o rei não tinha nenhuma objeção para permitir-lhe a prolongação de sua vida. A personalidade de Kali, também, após tentar de várias maneiras livrar-se da punição, decidiu que deveria render-se a ele e, assim, começou a tremer de medo e temer por sua vida. O rei, ou o líder executivo, deve ser forte o bastante para enfrentar a personalidade de Kali como a personalidade da morte, Yamarāja. A ordem do rei deve ser obedecida, pois, de outro modo, a vida do réu está em risco. Essa é a maneira de governar as personalidades de Kali que perturbam a vida normal dos cidadãos do estado.
