Translation

Traducción

Satisfied by the statement of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu, the brāhmaṇa [Keśava Kāśmīrī] explained the quoted verse. Then the Lord said, “Now kindly explain the special qualities and faults in the verse.”

Satisfecho con la declaración de Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, el brāhmaṇa [Keśava Kāśmīrī] explicó el verso citado. Entonces el Señor dijo: «Ahora tenga la bondad de explicar las cualidades y defectos especiales de ese verso».

Significado

Not only did Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu pick out this one among the one hundred verses and remember it although the brāhmaṇa had recited them like the blowing wind, but He also analyzed its qualities and faults. Not only did He hear the verse, but He immediately made a critical study of it.

No solamente escogió Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu ese verso entre los cien y lo recordó, a pesar de que el brāhmaṇa los había recitado como una ráfaga de viento, sino que también analizó sus cualidades y defectos. No sólo oyó el verso, sino que hizo inmediatamente un estudio crítico del mismo.
