mayy arpita-mano-buddhir
mām evaiṣyasy asaṁśayaḥ

tasmāt — therefore; sarveṣu — at all; kāleṣu — times; mām — Me; anusmara — go on remembering; yudhya — fight; ca — also; mayi — unto Me; arpita — surrendering; manaḥ — mind; buddhiḥ — intellect; mām — unto Me; eva — surely; eṣyasi — you will attain; asaṁśayaḥ — beyond a doubt.

tasmāt – stoga; sarveṣu – u svako; kāleṣu – doba; mām – Mene; anusmara – nastavi se sjećati; yudhya – bori se; ca – također; mayi – Meni; arpita – predajući; manaḥ – um; buddhiḥ – inteligenciju; mām – Mene; eva – sigurno; eṣyasi – dostići ćeš; asaṁśayaḥ – nedvojbeno.

Translation

Therefore, Arjuna, you should always think of Me in the form of Kṛṣṇa and at the same time carry out your prescribed duty of fighting. With your activities dedicated to Me and your mind and intelligence fixed on Me, you will attain Me without doubt.

Stoga, Arjuna, trebaš uvijek misliti na Mene u obliku Kṛṣṇe i istodobno se boriti, tako obavljajući svoju propisanu dužnost. Posvećujući svoje djelatnosti Meni i usredotočujući um i inteligenciju na Mene, nedvojbeno ćeš Me dostići.

Purport

This instruction to Arjuna is very important for all men engaged in material activities. The Lord does not say that one should give up his prescribed duties or engagements. One can continue them and at the same time think of Kṛṣṇa by chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa. This will free one from material contamination and engage the mind and intelligence in Kṛṣṇa. By chanting Kṛṣṇa’s names, one will be transferred to the supreme planet, Kṛṣṇaloka, without a doubt.

SMISAO: Ovaj savjet dan Arjuni veoma je važan za sve ljude koji vrše materijalne djelatnosti. Gospodin ne kaže da trebamo ostaviti svoju propisanu dužnost ili zanimanje. Možemo nastaviti s njima i u isto vrijeme misliti na Kṛṣṇu pjevajući Hare Kṛṣṇa. To će nas osloboditi materijalnih nečistoća i pomoći nam da usredotočimo um i inteligenciju na Kṛṣṇu. Ako pjevamo Kṛṣṇina imena, nedvojbeno ćemo biti preneseni na vrhovni planet, Kṛṣṇaloku.
