समं पश्यन्हि सर्वत्र समवस्थितमीश्वरम् ।
न हिनस्त्यात्मनात्मानं ततो याति परां गतिम् ॥ २९ ॥

samam – enako; paśyan – ki vidi; hi – vsekakor; sarvatra – povsod; samavasthitam – enako bivajočo; īśvaram – Naddušo; na – ne; hinasti – si škodi; ātmanā – z umom; ātmānam – duša; tataḥ – potem; yāti – doseže; parām – transcendentalni; gatim – cilj.

Translation

Translation

One who sees the Supersoul equally present everywhere, in every living being, does not degrade himself by his mind. Thus he approaches the transcendental destination.

Kdor vidi, da Nadduša prebiva povsod, brez razlike, v vsakem živem bitju, umu ne da možnosti, da bi mu škodil. Tako doseže transcendentalni cilj.

Purport

The living entity, by accepting his material existence, has become situated differently than in his spiritual existence. But if one understands that the Supreme is situated in His Paramātmā manifestation everywhere, that is, if one can see the presence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in every living thing, he does not degrade himself by a destructive mentality, and he therefore gradually advances to the spiritual world. The mind is generally addicted to sense gratifying processes; but when the mind turns to the Supersoul, one becomes advanced in spiritual understanding.

Ko živo bitje pride v materialni svet, se znajde v drugačnem položaju, kot ga je imelo v duhovnem svetu. Če razume, da je Vsevišnji kot Paramātmā prisoten vsepovsod, kar pomeni, da lahko vidi Vsevišnjo Božansko Osebnost v vsakem živem bitju, pa si z razdiralnim načinom mišljenja ne poslabša položaja, zato postopoma doseže duhovni svet. Um je ponavadi zasvojen s čutnim uživanjem, kdor pa ga usmeri k Nadduši, si pridobi duhovno znanje.
